Wireless connects, but cannot browse the internet

Hi I have this huge problem for months, I've tried looking into forums everywhere and can't find the solution.

My laptop is able to connect to the wireless router in my home, but the browser will never load a page, status is shown "connected". However, when I try on other laptops, they are able to surf the net.

I have tried using my laptop at my friend's place with a different wireless router and it works at his place as I was able to surf the internet through my wireless! So, I've tried resetting my personal modem to factory default and it still doesn't work! Can't anybody PLEASE help me? Thanks in advance! =)

Now, i would like to suggest you to please search the forum before posting any new query, just avoid the Duplication or Mods can delete the posts. As this problem has been discussed many times before. Just go through them, hope you will get the solution for sure:
