Widcomm issue : Can't Skip Pairing

Recently, I had purchased a new USB Bluetooth adapter - Kensington 33348. It came with a copy of WIDCOMM. Well, I can connect with Wii remote very well. But unfortunately, I am not able to skip pairing.

Does anybody have faced the same problem earlier.....Please help me

Yeah....I was facing the problem with WIDCOMM drivers. everthing used to work fine until I disable and enable the Bluetooth again or turn-OFF and turn-ON PC.

To resolve this :
- delete bluetooth HID from hardware list
- delete Wiimote from Bluetooth device
- register it again

This way your Windows will create bluetooth HID once again and everthing should be working well.

Are you using widcomm 5.5 ??

I would like to tell you that - Unfortuanately in Widcomm 5.5, the Skip button isn't just greyed out, it isn't there at all. There are lots of HID devices that don't have passkeys. This sometimes seems a bit strange.

I think it can be skipped. Try to go through My Bluetooth Places >> configure a new Bluetooth connection by using the assistant or manager >> out of the four options available, choose the second choice.

Now check, you should be able to skip pairing
