Default Gateway is not able to save after reboot in windows 7

I have seen this issue on a variety of Microsoft Operating System's however have not found my answer up till now following I reboot, I have to open "Advanced TCP/IP Settings" as well as add the default gateway. It workings until I reboot as well as disappears. Why is not the default gateway conserved across reboots, why has it persevere so long, what do I have to perform to solve it, if anybody has any thoughts? It now happen to me to add that I am jusing static IP, not DHCP, that is not a choice. One time I set the default gateway, I have no issue for days until I reboot, and after that I have to dig down to set it another time.

You have to go to the registry with regedit.exe after that opens the path: “HKLM/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/Tcpip/Parameters/Interfaces/” then you will require choosing the CLSID of your network adapter where you alter the settings. You will almost certainly identify it through looking at the value IP Address that will contain the IP of this adapter. After that go to the value "Default Gateway" by double pressing it. You will observe a list of the entire the gateways that disappeared. Very likely, the primary line will be vacant. Though, if you yourself take out this primary empty line, you have to press on OK as well as reboot your system the whole thing be supposed to be functioning very well once again.

I suppose the one you are utilizing is Local Area Connection. It is receiving an address from Autoconfiguration. It is not receiving an address from a DHCP server. If you usually obtain the address from DHCP, for example from your broadband router, you be able to attempt ipconfig /release plus after that ipconfig /renew. If these workings, you be able to set the right ip, gateway, plus DNS addresses as an exchange Configuration in the TCP/IP Properties page. While another Configuration is configured, it is supposed to utilize this if DHCP fails, as well as not utilize Windows Autoconfiguration.

Unexpectedly, after I had complete a number of checking with a router that had a dissimilar IP-range than I was utilized to, I had the similar issue with not identification my default Gateway IP in situation of a static IP in Windows 7 Home Premium. In the Right Pane of one of 4 Interfaces the value "Default Gateway" had an empty data field. After double pressing on Default Gateway a latest window opened. After finishing this window, this value comes into view in the right pane. After a reboot I observe that this odd issue has been resolved.
