Windows 7: Unable to connect to the Wireless Router

Hello friends, I had now upgraded the system from Windows Vista to Windows 7. In that I am facing the problem that I am unable to connect to the Wireless Router. I am using the Router of Belkin type of WPA2-PSK TKIP+AES Authentication. Windows 7 do not become visible to like this. I had also tried by means of the WPA2-personal through both AES and TKIP to no avail. I can’t shape out what the difficulty is and therefore require your help in solving the problem.

Make sure that it is powered off and also in to the Wireless router plus the modem. On to the connection properties dialog, verify the alternative to join to the router even if it's not broadcasting its SSID. Then you choose WPA2-PERSONAL by means of TKIP. Check the alternative to confirm characters which must create no dissimilarity, along with check this previous to anyhow. Then enter the password. Then you should also confirm that you had the most recent firmware for the router which is installed.

Verify whether the drivers intended for the network adapter are installed and functioning correctly on the system. The entire device that is being linked to the computer needs a group of drivers to be set up on to the system. If the suitable drivers are not installed then the machine will not job correctly. To verify if the drivers for the network adapter are installed and functioning correctly, right click on to the My Computer and then choose Device manager option. Then you hit it off onto the Network adapter and after that observes if there are any caution signals. Pursue the troubleshooting process if there are some caution symbols. If the troubleshooting does not assist then try and update the drivers.

The entire router performs on to the software identified as algorithm. If the algorithm of the router is not superior then it won’t be capable to grip additional tools linked to it. If the router is not capable enough to handle additional machines linked to it then the tools will not be capable to attach to the router. To crack such difficulty you will have to update the firmware of the router. To update the firmware of the router, attach the router to one of the PC by means of the console cable. Go to the authorized website of the maker of the router and download the most recent firmware which is accessible for the model of the router. Set up it on the router and after that verify if you are capable to join the computer to the router.

Re: Windows 7: Unable to connect to the Wireless Router

The default Internet Protocol edition of Windows 7 operating system is the IP version 6 whereas the default IP version of Windows XP is IP version 4. As a result if systems installed with this operating system are linked on the similar network then there would be protocol difference due to which the network might not perform correctly. What you do is just disable the IP version 6 support for the Windows 7 as a result that you will be capable to join together the computers on the network. To disable the IP version 6 support, first you should have to open the network connection and after that go to TCP/IP properties. Eliminate the check spot next to "Enable IPv6 support" and then apply the settings. After performing that reboot the system and then you should confirm if you are capable to attach to the router.
