I thought that this might be happening because of the anti-virus. So I have uninstalled AVG to no advantage. I will attempt reverting my system back all the way through Restore and expect this works. It is just strange that the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client would work only one day. I confirmed that the particular Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) services have been started. I rebooted the services just to make certain however still no chance.

Thanks for your valuable response however I ran the commands you recommended and still no chance. I flushed the Domain Name System (DNS) as well as re-registered it. I rebuilt the TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) stack. I as well turned off IPv6. After a restart, I was still not capable to RDP to my home machine. Any other suggestions?

I will suggest you to try temporary disabling the firewalls on server as well as client PC and verify the result. If the problem persists, attempt on the way to troubleshoot in Clean Boot Mode. Execute the clean startup on the way to determine whether background programs are interfering with your program. If your problem is still nor resolve let me know.

I am also having an extremely alike trouble. I used to be able to RDC (Remote Desktop Connection) from my local local area network (LAN) as well as from the internet. Some days later (around at what time I installed Microsoft office), I was no longer able on the way to connect from the internet, and be able to at the moment just RDC (Remote Desktop Connection) from my lan. I did discover the Windows 7 security settings intended for the Remote Desktop Public as well as Private network settings, furthermore confirmed my router settings, and the whole thing looks to be right.Any help or suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated!

close folks, it is printer related
Disable the "printers" check box on your Remote Desktop Connection by navigating to Options>Local Resources>Local Devices and resources. Then try to connect.

You have to uncheck the "Printers" option which will solve the issue for you. Check the below image that will let you know where to uncheck it. Hope that helps.
