If you have the CD that appear with the wireless network card you can utilize the .INF file connected with Windows XP in the Windows Wireless Drivers Program. You can also able to get it from your Windows division (if appropriate or present). Or you can go to the website of your Wireless network which presently a Netgear. So I suggest you to go to their website and found the downloadable link by providing the model number of the network cars as well as the operating system which you currently needed to install the driver for it. |

If you have install the 64 bit operating system of the Linux Mint 10 inside your computer then it is well and good. Because it a special features of self detecting the hardware whenever it is connected inside the system. It just gives the message that it has been detected and just tries to install it of it own or if not that possible then it will try to install from the driver CD. So if you have then just insert it and try to check it is connected to the internet or not. |

| Re: How to get WLan card drivers for the Linux Mint 10
Currently I have a dual boot system - 32 as well as 64-bit operating system; I just tried using ndiswrapper on 32 bit and it works completely awesome inside my system. so it's partly solved. Is it probable to work it out in 64 bit operating system, I speculate, or should I just uninstall 64-bit linux as well as stick with the 32-bit editions? Since I had install two operating system might causing the problem of the network card not detected inside my operating system. So any one have any suggestion then please reply me. |

I don’t think that there is any issue with the dual booted operating system. Because the drivers required for the operating system for 32-bit as well as the 64-bit is well different driver needed to install it. So you must select the proper operating system for the Linux mint where want to install whether inside the 32-bit or in the 64 bit there drivers are far more different. So my suggestion is try to find the relevant driver for that operating system. |
