Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 2008 client and Windows 7

We raised the domain to windows 2003 R2 to Windows 2008 R2. To use remote RAST I Prepared a client with Windows 7 Professional x64 and inserted in the domain. I am connected With my user (which is domain-admin), I open IE8 and I try to change its options, but I are locked in gray, as if I had more permission to change. If I connect with the domain Administrator can manage them correctly. I tried to connect to a Windows client 7 inserted in the domain prior to moving to Windows 2008 R2 and it works fine. What should I enable on Windows 7?

Check the GPO applied to your account domain. Even if you have your Domain Admin account must cmq subject to the restrictions of the policy applied to the OU where the account resides. Also I remind you that the computer account is subject to the GPO. I hope this will help you to get the solution for the problem you are getting. Please let us know if you are able to solve this issue.

Administration Tools Remote or Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) for the Release Candidate (RC) of Windows 7 is to be made available on Microsoft website. They are the current administration tools or AdminPak in order to manage both positions 7 or Windows servers running Windows Server 2008 R2, but can be used for earlier versions. Between computers with Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, the protocol used for remote administration of Windows is now or WinRM Remote Management, which should be less of a nightmare for administrators firewalls.

Administration Tools Remote Server for Windows 7 may be set up on PC running the Professional editions, Enterprise or Ultimate editions of Windows 7. Administration Tools Remote Server for Windows 7 work with x86 and x64 editions of Windows 7 and can manage roles and features running Server Core installation options or the complete operating system Windows Server 2008 x64 R2 The remote management is also supported by certain roles and features with Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2003. RSAT for Windows 7 should not be installed on a computer running the Administration Tools Pack Windows Server 2003 or the Administration Tools Pack Windows 2000 Server.
