    WNDR3700 not getting configured

    My configuration :
    • Freebox WNDR3700 ----------- ----- ------ PC1 5 meter cat6 gigabit wifi / N))) PC2
    • Gigabit cat6 cable of 0.50 cm
    • Synology NAS
The mode of my router freebox is disabled. I have a problem of slowness of my 2 pc to my NAS. I download at 15MB / s from 2/3mo/s = PC1 and PC2 from wifi N. However, my equipment is properly configured in static IP. In addition, I try desperately to control it via VNC my PC1 (I set my dyndns on netgear). Here's what I do and that is not working:
Array ports of the Port Triggering
    # Enable Server Name Service Type Inbound Service User Login
    1 VNC TCP: 5009 TCP / UDP: 5900 .. 5900 192.168.1.2
    2-1 VNC TCP: 5008 TCP / UDP: 5008 .. 5008 192.168.1.2
    VNC TCP 3-2: 5500 TCP / UDP: 5500 .. 5500 192.168.1.2
Please provide some useful tips that can fix the issue.

From your description, it should be tested with other channels because it seems there is interference. First deactivate the automatic channel selection. This mode is able to detect other wireless equipment, but probably not the TV transmitters or other monitoring equipment work using the 2.4 GHz band. However, it is mainly the "slow flow" that interest me ... Indeed Gigabit reach 15Mb / s and 5Ghz wireless 3mb / s, there is a small problem. That said it is no wonder your rates, because the sight of your schema, it seems that you have connected your NAS on your Freebox and it does "only" a switch 10/100 Mbps. Have you done a test by connecting it to your WNDR 3700? If not, then try it.

Errors caused by other devices in the 2.4 GHz band are breaking down the flow. I've experienced, that's why I tested and found another channel on which everything works fine. It takes just 5 minutes to remove the doubt. If you have doubt on VNC and TSE, then check for the flow rates, it would be best to try with a cable (not wireless) to see if it changes, c wifi is good, but not always debits tip-top .. more interferences in the 2.4 ghz are many (such a portable side, connected in Bluetooth => for example, or microwave, or USB key, and more ...)

    Re: WNDR3700 not getting configured

I currently have a router WNDR3700 not connected ethernet (gigabit) to a PC and a laptop with WiFi (Wireless N). PC and Laptop is having Windows 7. The wireless encryption is WPA2-PSK (AES). The router is set to 300Mbps WiFi. My problem is that the rate of sending file {PC -> gigabit ethernet-> router -> Wireless-N -> Portable side of a Rotor} is rather low wholesale 40 Mbps (5 Mbps). The device captures perfectly the wifi (nearby the router) and the change of position does not affect the flow. What you think? Configuration problem router, PC, Laptop? Thank you for your help!!

Your laptop is connected to what speed? 130 ~ 150 Mbps? Often it is 150 via laptops or Express card (such as Belkin, because J has one that syncs to 150). If one is in 2.4 or 5 Ghz, 2,4 is susceptible to the laptop / microwave etc. Sync speed does not mean actual flow. Can I have a sync has 2.4 GHz and 300 in row. But I have a sync has 150 2.4 GHz and very comfortably surf. But I have the 5.00 GHz to 300, comfortable, since I'm over in waves of 2.4 GHz (microwave / mobile phone and other such).

The interoperability of 802.11n chipset is often at 150 Mbps. That said, we must not forget that the practice is somewhat different from the theory. I take as an example the 802.11g, which the 54 theoretical and can do 24 in practice (26, with the wind at your back). Anyway ... you capped at 5 Mb / s. ... Me with a MacBook Pro, I'm at 11 MB / s (or 13 MB / s when the weather ...). But it is 5 GHz, which allows me to avoid all the TV transmitters, microwave and other disturbances present in the building.
