DNS server cofiguraration show error as DNS (" Null")

I am really very frustrated with my DNS service . I do not know how my DNS controller is not working up to the mark , it has gone done for a long time , so upset My Domain controller gone down I don't know how, When I tried to reconfigure it it shows some strange error as DNS server is Null so please tell my how I can configure it and get connected to my client.

Well I cannot provide you a complete solution but I can give you a temporary one I think but you can have the access on the open Active Directory Users and all the sites related to it only if you have configured the DNS server only , but none the less you can connect through the IP server if not , at least you can do your unfinished work till you get configure with the DNS server.

Can you provide me a a few details , I would ask you to tell me , when you log into the system what information do you get when you connect with the system especially the event logs say what happens when you login to a workstation , try to ping the hostname of the DC/DNS server .If you would have been provided me with these details I think you issue would have been solved by now.
