    How to connect Cisco 1861 router with Linksys modem

    I have just completed the configuration on Cisco 1861 router, although I’m incapable to surf Internet from Cisco 1861 router, I have DSL (Digital subscriber line) line through IP address & our ISP is MTNL in Mumbai. I have the following connection with the ISP:
    Internet provider (MTNL)<---> Linksys Modem(AM200 & IP :192.168.1.1/14) <---> Cisco 1861 (LAN IP, 192.168.1.2) <---> Workstation (192.168.8.1 to 192.168.8.154),
    But I can't access Internet facilities from Cisco Device, I m doubt about the Linksys modem will work it or not properly. Can anyone recommend me what configuration require to complete on Linksys for receiving Internet connection from Cisco 1861 Device..
    How to organize the connection for Cisco 1861 with Linksys modem? Can anyone knows about this process how to do this?

    Please give the router arrangement. particularly, which interface on the Cisco 1861 linking to the Linksys AM300 modem?
    In common, you require assigning the interface on the Cisco1861 connecting to the Linksys AM300 modem on the Internet Protocol subnet 192.168.1.0/24 (e.g. 192.168.1.3). Configure global command ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0.0 192.168.2.2 on the Cisco1861.

    I too have similar issue so have made some changes in my pc hope it will help you out.     From the Linksys AM300 modem settings, I recommend that you have a conversation with your ISP. I believe that you must use RFC2518 PPPoE. I recommend that you merely connect a PC straightforwardly to the Linksys AM300. If the computer can connect Internet, you precede the followings. From the router arrangement, you organize PPPoE on the Cisco 1861. I do not observe any ATM interface on the Cisco1861 here Mumbai. Thus, I suppose that the dialer interface is redundant. IRB is organizing on the Cisco1861. I do not believe that you require that at all. NAT is not necessary on the Cisco1861 because the Linksys AM300 must have the NAT/PAT. You organize 192.168.1.2/26 on Fa 0/0. Eliminate subinterface fa 0/0.51 and fa 0/0.101. I attached the customized arrangement. I do not know sufficient on validating the VPN as well as VOIP configuration.
