Use Of 3rd Party Firmware For Boosting Your Routers.

Their are various routers that are used by me, but I have recently got a problem with it. Whenever I click on the option of the router it is asking me the firmware that can be used for the connection of router for the boosting of it. I am planning to install some 3rd party firmware which will add some features and thus boost my router speed. Please if any one could suggest some firmware that can help me boost my speed and hence upgrade the speed.

You can make the use the Linksys wrt54g series, Asus and Buffalo Tech routers. Also see that what version of the routers you are using and also use
    • The one which is using the Firmware ans supporting it.
    • Then you got to insert out the router
    • And also you can get the details of the server that is given below:
    • First see for the VPN server
    • The you got to increase your wireless output for increased range
    • After that you got to have a VLAN support
    • Then you got to increase in bridging and WDS support
    • Also look out the Traffic charts
    • then checki out for the AP mode, and then flip role of WAN and the Internet port to 5th switch port.
    • Then you can see that the overclocking the CPU is done or not.
    • Then check out the IDS and also the antivirus scanning of traffic.

This will help to know the server type that you are using.

And also add on the dd-wrt and then add the details in the router this will help you to get the boost the router:
    Code:
    f5d7230-4 v1000 (v1223df), v1010, v1111 'all builds of dd-wrt
    v1444 (microbuilds only)
    F5D7130 (micro dd-wrt builds)
    F5D7330 (micro dd-wrt builds)
Then after that got to the dd-wrt router chart.
And after that open wrt router. And this version of the Firmware Linksys WRT54G v1-v4 works propely when the configuration settings are made in the router.

You can also start working with the dd-wrt and see whether it is working well with the Linksy WRT. You can also see it by the performance test and also by performing a simple upgradation you can see that whether it is working for you for it or no. Just perform the below given steps you will get the problem of the Linksys solved. The steps are as follows:
    • First you got to hard reset the router.
    • Then connect by the cat5.
    • After that you can do the login by using the default Linksys password.

After the entering of the password you got to upload the dd-wrt firmware and also the dd-wrt.v24 mini wrt300n.bin.
