Actually I am fresher in this case. I switched from Verizion Fios to Time Warner and my connection has been unbalanced since day one I mean from the first day onwards. I have been experiencing latency and packet beating. I have tried a lot of things and it is improved currently, however I would like to observe if TCP Optimizer can additional progress my connection. So please send me some more information about TCP Optimizer.

    Re: Optimal TCP Optimizer settings

I have gone through the majority of the setting tweaks, and I am finding to attempt and progress my connectivity with TCP Optimizer or Cablenut. I tried Optimal Settings with TCP Optimizer one time, but it seemed to have reduced my speed a little in its place, from a speed test. Here is my information:
    1. I am on an ADSL2+ connection; ISP is Optus advertised speed of 30000/2048. I am running an XP SP2 as my Operating system.
    2. TCP/IP Analyzer Test
    3. TCP options string = 020405b4101010301
    4. MTU = 1600
    5. MTU is completely optimized for broadband.
    6. MSS = 1560
    7. Default TCP Receive Window= 65535
    8. TCP 1332 Options require to be enabled for RWIN over 65535.
    9. For best performance, consider changing RWIN to a numerous of MSS.

Just be careful while you are going to do the following things:
    1. Below your LAN connection- properties - general tab, uninstall each of the protocols present which you do not require. For a standalone computer all you want is Internet Protocol TCP/IP.
    2. Open IE and choose tools- internet options - connections - LAN settings, make certain not anything there is checked.
    3. Always connect your modem via Ethernet (NIC) and make certain you have the newest drivers for your Network Interface Card from the manufacturer and place your duplex mode to auto. If you are utilizing a router make certain you have the newest firmware.
    4. Power cycles your modem that is unplugging it for as a minimum 20 seconds.
    5. Download, update and scan with Spybot, Ad-Aware and Ewido anti spyware to eliminate any spyware after that install and update Spyware Blaster to continue spyware FREE.

Or do the TCP optimizer settings save to the broadband account and what would occur while I hard-pressed don’t transform network adaptors on TCP optimizer. Please suggest something because I really not understood what to do next. Just require some help if possible.

    Re: Optimal TCP Optimizer settings

It is not recommended to make use of software to optimize TCP. TCP/IP is a protocol used to send and receive data packets crosswise a network. Attempt to not make use of these types of software. If you wish to optimize speed and so forth then please utilize trusted tools such as tune up utilities. You can download this from anywhere I mean from any download website however this wants a registered number and the like. You can download full versions from just simply clicking the Google.com.
