How to Block AOL traffic using Dlink DIR 625 Router

Yesterday I went to d some experiment. What I did is I tried to block or turn off AOL instant messenger traffic via my router. The router which I am currently using is Dlink DIR 625 router. Because of the feature of keep changing ports I could not able to block the specific port. On this router I cannot even block the specific website. Anybody have any idea about blocking the traffic? Should I need to install any special program or device to block these things?

I think that there is no perfect solution to block the traffic. But there are alternative options they works little similar to this.

• Download and install the AIM Monitor Sniffer
• Block ports 4099 and 5190. These are the mostly used ports.
• Setup your own DNS and determine login.oscar.aol.com to 127.0.0.1
• Try to Force all traffic through a proxy that blocks AIM
• Establish firm rules for privacy

The main problem is that the AIM can use port 80 and we cannot block or close this port anyway. For that you need to refer some of the expertise blocking tricks like sniffing the title of the program. For this you will need to download and install a special program. Not even AOL, you can control multiple messengers like yahoo and msn. Therefore, the following supplementary functionality can also be imposed:
