    Lan Settings In Desktop PC

    Hi,
I took broadband connection recently but not able to access the internet. When i connected the service provider he told that LAN settings/card is not installed. However, when i checked the device manager under network settings (?) there it was showing the modem details.

I am not able to see the LED glowing next to the port where the network cable is connected to the CPU.

What can be the reason and what should i do next.
    Regards,
    PNP

re: Lan Settings In Desktop PC

It seems that your Lan Card is not working and that is why you are not getting the connectivity with the internet. But before coming to conclusion i will advise you to first installed the latest Lan driver and then check whether you are getting the connectivity or not. If you are not getting connectivity then you have to install a new Lan Card into the system. So if you can then go through the same and work with the issue.
