Exclamation Multiple subnet in the same DNS, AD

    Hi,

In my office, we are running windows 2003, DNS, AD in the same server. and using 192.1.1.x. we have already used all IP from this subnet. If i want to add another subnet like 192.1.5.x in the same server and want talk with each other subnet, how to do this? can anyone send me step by step solution?

Re: Multiple subnet in the same DNS, AD

It is first recommended to check that the ip address you are using must match the other one you are trying to use. That means that range of the ip is similar. And the same rule applies for the subnet also. If both have a different type of ranges then they will not contact with each other. In other words the subnet must be matching. The same is possible on DHCP, where it is possible to configure two types of subnet support.
