Macbook air remote install not working

When Apple released the Macbook Air, lot of question their belief that many people no longer require a CD or DVD drive on their notebooks. While others listening carefully on the notebooks be short of of skill to quickly play DVD media or bring in the latest audio CD tracks, I was more worried with how the macbook air remote install would handle. Please suggest. Thanks in advance.

If you've by now got the software installed on both machines, Follow this these steps and look for the Terminal code.
    1. The software to create this all work is on the Macbook Air OS X disc. But if you're like me and want to create this work with a usual ole "my superdrive took a dump" MacBook, download the separate Windows installer here:http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...orwindows.html
    2. Once installed, go to your Windows Control panel and click the "CD DVD Sharing" button and make active the checkbox.
    3. You need to enable this feature on your MacBook is as simple as organization Software Update. But you can also go here:http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...formac.htmland grip it directly.
    4. Go into your Mac System Prefs, tick the Sharing button, and check "CD/DVD Sharing."

In order to boot from a Remote Disc, first you have to install the Remote Disc software on the host computer and reboot. After that, you have to open Applications/Utilities/Remote Install OS X on the host computer and reboot the Air while holding down the alternative key. From there, you are obtainable with your hard drive and a drop-down to choose a wireless network. Select yours, enter the password, and wait. The Air will after that (with any luck) show the OS X install disc on the host computer with an arrow under it. Click the arrow, and you have begin your remote install drive. (It should be famous that the host machine doesn't of necessity require to be on WiFi, but it must at smallest amount be on the same network as the Air. It might be connected via Ethernet if you desire, which may in fact help the process go a little earlier also.
