Norton Safety minder does not allow gmail access

I have did all the settings for so that my child can get access to to her Gmail account but it is not allowing the access. Both the Safari and Firefox say that you can not access this site. Norton Safety Minder alert box also does not come up. Can you tell me what may be the solution for this? I have tried some solution for this but does not worked for me. Please help me with your suggestion.

Can you tell me what is there on the page when gmail does not arise?

You should make sure that the following URL's are there on the allow list. If you dont have it there then you will not get access to the page.
Here are the URL's:

mail.google.com
gmail.com
gmail.google.com

You can also select Update House Rules by right clicking on the tray icon. Allow the above lists to and see that whether it is giving access or not. Good Luck

There is possibility that that website may be blocked. First of all you should make sure that you have not blocked the categories of the website. The site may be rated as multiple categories. Enter the entire website on the allow list this will allow you access that account. I have blocked some sites to prevent access of the site from the children in my house.

I am using Norton but it makes my gmail access very slow. I asked to some of my friends and they told me that Nortons has nothing to with Norton 360. I have tried many solutions from gmail help but nothing helped me. I dont like the slow process of this. Is there anyone having the same problem and have the solution? Please provide the applicable suggestion. I am waiting for your replies. Thanks.

You can try the following to your Explorer. This setting has soled this problem for many computers till now and I hope this will also help you.

First step is to open internet explorer.
Select Tools from the toolbar and select “Manage Add-ons”.
You should make sure that “Toolbars and Extensions” is select on left.
Scroll down untill you get “Symantec Corporation” area.
Now select “Norton Confidential”.
You will see a pop up word "Disable" on right- left. Click on it.
Norton Confidential will now show "Disabled".
Close the Explorer
Reopen it and I am sure it will work this time.

You should contact Norton Support and ask them for the issue. They will definitely help you and will provide the proper way to get out of the issue. You should not try anything before asking them it may cause some serious problem. They are the professionals and have the exact solution for any problem.

Uninstall the Norton and restart your computer. After you have restarted then see that if it is processing with the same speed or it has been increased to some extends. If it speeds up the processing then you should download a fresh copy of Norton setup and install it. In many of the cases like this reinstallation of the antivirus fixes the problem. I hope this will also fix the problem in your case.
