Norton 360 4.0 Wont run on Win 7

As mentioned i am using windows7 with all other latest configuration, I am also using Norton 360 from last month and it was working fine till yesterday now i don't know what happen to it , it is not even starting as soon as i click on the Norton 360 it gives me an error message saying that "it is not compatible with this version of windows". what should i do now? please help.

Once again the same problem , I have gone through your problem and it seems to me that this has become a common issue among those who use winsow7 and Norton 360 4.0 , And it is due to the recent updates by windows. I think there may be compatibility issue between. But it has already been declared by Windows that they have tested Norton 360 3.6 and it is highly compatible with the windows 7 , so i will suggest you to uninstall Norton 360 4.0 and install Norton 360 3.6, it will for sure

It seems to me that there is no integration between the windows 7 and Norton 360 4.0, Just check your windows settings, it might happen that you will come to know what the problem basically is , Or do one thing send me what the error exactly says or how it look likes then i think i can help you. So do it as soon as possible then i will try to sort it out.

As soon as i click on the Norton 360 4.0 the error message pop ups and it says that "This program has known compatibility issues " and it also has three command buttons entitled check for solutions online, run program, cancel respectively. The exact error message box looks like the image showed below.

Thanks for giving such a detailed explanation and a clear view of the error message, Now what you have to do is just check the check box on "don't show this message again" and then again click on "RUN" the file will run and the Norton 360 4.0 will run and it will not give any disturbance in future.
