acer aspire 3680 won't connect to prefered network?

Hello everyone. I have an acer aspire 3680. I'm using my friends internet (wireless), and everything was working fine. I shut down my laptop, woke up, botted it up and it shows full bars, but will not let me connect. It says that I can't connect to the prefered network. I put in the WAP password correctly. She even put the password in and still nothing. Then a few days later.....it works again. And a few days after that....nothing....again. its so frustrating now. I need some help. I'm baffled?

This seems to be the issue with the Service provider's end. If it connecting and again stops responding then it might be possible that the service provider is blocking the connection and that is why you are getting this issue. So first thing i will advise you to contact the service provider and let me know whether you got it working with the same or not. Thanks.
