Windows 7 and Windows 2003 Server - slow login and no network drives

I have a strange problem with Windows 7 computer. I have a domain setup in my Windows 2003 Server. When I try to log into the domain on Windows 7 computer than it takes too long (about 6 min) to login. When I try the same log in on another computer running other than Windows 7, it takes hardly 10 -15 seconds to login. I am also unable to see the network drives on Windows 7 computer. Any ideas what's the problem?

There are several step that can be taken care of:

• Did you installed Windows 7 administration pack?
• Try to uninstall and then reinstall all the hardware drivers
• Recheck AD DNS settings once again
• Re-Configure all TCP/IP settings on each adapter using the netsh command
• Disabled ipv6
• Configure the NIC to 100/Full or 1000/Full, based on the hardware device.

Reinstall the network drivers from manufacturers site. Does this happen with just one profile or every user on that computer? If not sure then try to create a new user account and see what happens. Moreover, are all the NIC set to AutoNegotiation or 100/1000 or half/full duplex mode? Make the changes about the lan speed as instructed by Lemog.

Login to Windows 7 computer. Open Group Policy Editor. Select Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, System, Logon. Open “Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon” policy and disable it. Reboot your computer and see if solves the problem. If not then try to access the shared folders with UNC. If you face any problem then remove the mapped network drive.

Disable the flow control from LAN settings. Go to Start, Run and type "ncpa.cpl". Press Enter. Right click on network adapter and click Properties. Click on "configure", then "Advanced". Navigate to "Flow Control" property and disable.
