Dlink GLB 802C modem

I used to use a Sterlite modem for bsnl broadband until recently it broke.So I recently got a new modem Dlink GLB 802C ADSL2+ Router.If i connect the old modem i get an average ping around 70s to 80s of a Game which i play.But when i connect to the new modem i get pings around 140s please Help me configure this modem as that of the old one.


I need to know in detailed how to configure it properly as I've been Getting High Pings for my Game Counter-Strike on Steam Platform and on MMORPG

You are first telling that you have connected your new modem and got 140s ping rate and then you are asking for its configuration, quiet confusing! Didn't you configured it initially before connecting it or made any changes ? What else you want to configure if you are getting the best performance during your gameplay ? Can you please tell us what you are thinking of to change and what do you actually mean by "configure it"?
