To flush the DNS on MAC operating system, you need to work with the terminal. Here is how to Flush DNS in MAC, just go through this stesp:-

Type dscacheutil -flushcache in your terminal to flush the DNS resolver cache.

In Mac OSX versions 10.5.1 and before, the command lookupd -flushcache performed the same task:

    bash-2.05a$ lookupd -flushcache

Once you run the command your DNS cache will flush.

Just open Terminal window on your MAC and Within the prompt, type dscacheutil -flushcache and press Enter. Thats it!! Flushing the cache removes all the information stored in cache, forcing the computer to find the new DNS information for the website.

If you want to flush dns on Snow Leopard or to clear DNS cache in Leopard, just type this in your Terminal and hit enter:
    dscacheutil -flushcache
DNS request are usually cache, that’s good as it speeds up the lookups within the same host but sometimes we will want to clear the cache so it don’t hold the values that are no longer valid.
