WARNING: Bogus Adobe Reader 2010

I recently received an email which according to the message was from Adobe. I stated that they were announcing a newer version of Acrobat Dynamic PDF Reader 2010 which is easier, faster and better then previous versions. It then asked me to download it from the link provided. This is just a bogus and nothing else. You can also say it as Trojan from Adobe!

"A new phishing scam is trying to fool people into thinking it comes from Adobe, announcing a new version of PDF Reader/Writer. The message is making its way into e-mail boxes now, and the real Adobe urged any recipients to simply delete it."

This is certainly a false positive or malicious software spread over the internet. It is just to make money and nothing else. I would suggest not to download or install anything. Also use some good internet security suite to prevent this in near future.

Even I received a similar mail on my office email address offering the free download of the latest version of Acrobat Dynamic PDF Reader 2010. I tried installing it but found it to be bogus. Thanks to my antivirus software which detected it as malware affecting my computer. It stopped the installation procedure and reported me about the same. With more research on the internet, I found that there is no such program with name "Acrobat Dynamic PDF Reader 2010" and it is better to delete this email as soon as possible.
