question Problems with booting into a CISCO switch

I am attempting to reconfigure a CISCO Catalyst 3750 series switch. I am unable to hyper terminal into the switch using a laptop. Instead, the switch seems to be booting up from its own configuration instead of from the laptop. How can I get around this issue?

Re: Problems with booting into a CISCO switch

Download the Catalyst 3750 Switch Software Configuration Guide, 12.2(25)SE PDF File directly from the cisco site from here. It is a 11 mb file, so it might take time to load. To view the pdf file, you obvioulsy might be knowing that you would require Adobe Acrobat Reader that you can easily get from the adobe site. Hope that helps
