This is probably because you have downloaded a malicious application. Always remember to scan an application before installing it. And most of the antivirus does this. But in few files they might skip the same. You can here first run a full system scan under safe mode and then you can go ahead with full system restore. Which will also allow you to resolve the problem.

Sounds like a Trojan backdoor passes through flash encoder. You should never download Flash ActiveX Object Error. Most of the time this type of error appear on the web browser. And when you click to install it add the malicious object in your pc. It is very hard to get rid of the same. I tried cleaning the same when I got error but it did not worked properly. The only way to fix is to re-install windows.

Certainly, you must check if your computer is infected. A good antivirus will detect the majority of strains of viruses such as eScan Antivirus 10.0. Scan (scan) your notebook to make sure it is "clean." In your email do not risk behavior on the Internet. Update should be made regularly, the eScan antivirus program will take care for any future infection on your system.

The worm W32.Sircam.Worm @ mm may be the cause of this problem. To check if your computer is infected with this virus type, follow these steps:

Restart your computer, press F8 when the Startup menu in Windows XP appears, then select Command Prompt in safe mode.
At the command prompt, type regedit, and then press ENTER.
If the following registry key is set to C: \ recycled \ sirc32.exe "% 1"% * your computer is infected by the worm W32/SirCam:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ exefile \ shell \ open \ command
Note If this registry setting is different from
    "% 1"% *
Your computer may be infected by another virus.

Disinfect it using a good antivirus program.
