    Multiple networks to increase download speed

    Hello,
    I have a PC with two network cards, one with ethernet and the other with wifi. The problem is that no relation between them on the network part. Is it possible to make a bridge network knowing that network cards are not on the same network. Can I increase the download speed by combining two networks Any help regarding this is appreciated. Thank you for your help.

    Hello,
    If you are under windows then you can do this.
    Server Side:
    On the machine that accesses the outside world (We will call the server)
    In Network Connections ->
    Right click on the card that accesses the outside world (WAN)
    Properties -> Advanced
    Internet Connection Sharing : Check Allow other network computers to connect through this computer's Internet connection.
    An alert you that the internal LAN card this machine will become a DHCP server address 192.168.0.1

    Client Side:
    On any machine that wishes to connect to Internet (We call them clients)
    Crossover cable between the LAN card and the card the customer's DHCP server (the LAN card which has been plated on 192.168.0.1), or passage through a switch between all clients and server.
    Network Connections
    Right click on the customer's card,
    Properties -> Internet Protocol (TCP / IP) -> Properties
    Obtain IP address automatically (DHCP)
    Obtain DNS server address automatically

    Hello,
    Here are few tips for you

    - Each client must take an address on the network 192.168.0.1 to 254 randomly.
    - As it is DHCP, it does not even specify the gateway is automatically DHCP server that fulfills this role.
    - We can not change or choose the address you want, it is still not a full DHCP server.
    - It does not matter if the server address provided by your DSL router, wi-fi or wired network is on a network other than 192.168.xx and it does not matter if it is not on the same network as long as the server has not been address 192.168.0.1 on another card.
    - Any OS that can receive an address by DHCP can use this connection, therefore also for Linux and any other operating system.

    Hello,
    If you are using linux operating system then you can use the ethernet switch also know as bridge to bridge. It takes several network adapters, which will used as switch ports. This bridge function as traditional Ethernet switch, in apprehend MAC addresses that are behind its network interfaces for routing Ethernet frames. However, unlike a conventional switch, it does not cross the network connection, it will therefore connect the bridge to other computers via cables. Try if you can set up something like this.

    Hello,
    A note:
    When you define a bridge interfaces used as ports become unusable at the network level. In contrast, Linux defines a virtual interface (here, br0), Which can be configured and used on the computer as if it was connected to the network bridge.
