    Wireless Problem

    hello to anybody that's interested.
I'm having a problem connecting to the internet via wifi.
Using a wired connection is fine, i can view web pages with no problems.
But when i try to use wifi, it connects (only after i entered the i.p and dns addresses manually.
It seems I can send but not receive data.
A while back I set up a static I.P in order to forward the ports for Xbox Live, maybe this is the problem?
    Here is my ipconfig

    Re: Wireless Problem

You might have noticed a long delay in web page opening while connected to your internet. The connection stays live but the dns server does not responds due to which you cannot surf webpage. For this all the settings are made in router itself. You can open your web browser and type the routers IP which is 192.168.1.1 by default. The user id and password for that is admin admin. Just enter it and check the settings. This is default set by the ISP provider.

    Re: Wireless Problem

I think the problem is with the configuration of the router. If the configuration of the router is not proper then Wifi connection will not work. Hence contact the ISP and get the correct configuration for the router. Configuring the router properly will solve the problem.

    Re: Wireless Problem

I've worked it out. I just reset the security settings on the router. That sorted it right away... Strange..

    Re: Wireless Problem

Well instead of searching for the tutorial on the web you should try to search help for the windows network connection.
Precisely speaking search for the Help and support Center.
Then you have to just enter your query in that and you will surely get the answer for you problem.

    Re: Wireless Problem

All you need to do is to process out the query by following certain steps. It is as follows:

    • First from the control panel go to the internet connection and then start connect to.
    • Now click o Show all connection
    • Now right click on internet properties
    • then on advanced internet connection option mark all the options
    • Again right click on internet connection and then to properties to advanced tab
    • Now set for the local area connection and fill in the parameters.
    • St the Wifi configuration by assigning the Ip address
