Porn virus help please!

On my computer recently which runs on Windows XP operating system was getting a pop up of internet security virus and malware. When I checked out the web browser and i found in the history that there was 5 to 6 porn sites from the last two days. I removed the links, and then i rebooted my internet explorer, but what i saw that these sites came up again. I don't think that there is something wrong with the explorer, and also i am doubt that there is a virus on my computer which may have transmitted from these porn sites. Pleae help me whenever i open the browser, these porn sites open automatically.
