I am not having enough knowledge about the network management. I want to know about the authority, processes that will be integrated, levels of service, etc.!! So thought to take some notes from you people. So please provide me with an overview of the management of a network. Since, i am new, it would be grateful if you provide it in simple language and with detailed information.

This becomes essential in large complex environments, where networks covering the whole world would vary depending on the topology, platform, protocols, security, and suppliers.

This should be a quick decision, since the network management is concerned. It is imperative to decide which elements of the management task would be administered by any department.
