    Hacking a Motorola Cable modem

    Hi all,

I a using Motorola's wireless cable modem gateway SBG900 that using the latest high-level DOCSIS2.0 TDMA (A-TDMA) and synchronous code division multiple access (S-CDMA) technology, the product compact, integrated industry-leading SURF board. I want to know that what is the layest technology to hack a Motorola Cable modem. Please update. Thanks in advance.

Cable modem, an IEEE 802.11g wireless access point and an advanced firewall. It is home, home office and small businesses an ideal solution for. Users can build a custom network to share the same broadband, files, network printers and peripherals (with or without connection). SBG900 is a cost-effective solution that enables users to no longer need three kinds of stand-alone product, while maximizing the potential of existing resources. SBG900 for wired and wireless users can also provide greater network security. Check and reply.

Users of this concern is justified, and wireless local area network through the data transmitter to send data signals through the wireless receiver to read the data. Is this not imply that the data is valid within the scope of other wireless receivers can also receive these data? We usually no shortage of movies in the United States to see some agents with special devices to receive and read the air waves, and that these matters are not the same will happen in our wireless LAN as well. So it is difficult.

Re: Hacking a Motorola Cable modem

First of all, you have to understand, for the first time when wireless technology is used in the military field. Particularity of the decision in the military field of wireless technology must be unusual data security. In fact, the wireless LAN built-in security monitoring features make it better than most of the wired LAN to be much safer. It uses the military wireless spread spectrum communication technology, which was initially used to prevent data eavesdropping. The current situation, the key technology of wireless local area networks are mainly three kinds: infrared, frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) and direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS). Using the technique of spread-spectrum technology, unless the client and the sender uses the same spreading code and then associated with simultaneous detection, otherwise spread spectrum signal is powerless. In other words you want to use the physical theft of the radio wave technology, little access to a wireless network inside the data. All the best.

    Hacking a Motorola Cable modem

The wireless LAN uses a comprehensive network authentication measures to ensure access control security. Based on the wireless network server using the password control, password mechanism, under strict control, you can very well to ensure that only legitimate users can access the network. Again, we can also send the data via the wireless network is encrypted. All the secure wireless network can be set up security passwords, encryption of data transmitted in the past. Even though the intruder 1000 side won the 100 recorded data packets on the wireless network, but also because the data will be encrypted can be applied without a mind. So check it out and reply.

    Hacking a Motorola Cable modem

Many users are worried about the wireless network data snooping problems, wired LAN where there is this hidden danger is the same. An intruder can use a tool called the sniffer, you can intercept the local area network has gone through all the data packets of its host. So, on this point is concerned, wired LAN with wireless LAN security, do not have the advantages in comparison. this is the plus point for you. Check and reply.
