Re: How to get rid of this Win32.Actem virus?

Win32.Actem which is detected on your computer system is not a virus it is worm which consumes the memory space on your computer system. Normally this worm spreads through the use of internet or to be more precise it spreads through infected email attachments. This worm is a portable executable file and the size of this worm is 61 kilobytes and it is written in visual basic language.

Win32.Actem worm hides itself as an "Active Mouse" application and displays quite a few false messages and menus when the infected or contaminated file is run.
Win32.Actem shows this "active mouse" dialog window:

Change your antivirus software

This Win32.Actem worm first steals the email address from the address book of the Microsoft outlook and then sends infected email to other computer system. If your current antivirus software is not able delete this Win32.Actem worm from your computer system then change your antivirus software.

Re: How to get rid of this Win32.Actem virus?

I will suggest you to use MacAfee antivirus software for removing this Win32.Actem worm. I am suggesting you to use this MacAfee antivirus software because I was also suffering with the same problem of Win32.Actem worm and now my computer system is free from any kind of virus or worm. This antivirus software will not only remove this worm but will also remove other malicious codes which can harm your computer system.
