How to use different load balancing to improve network performance

    Hi all,

Load balancing is that many system administrators will ignore the problem, but it is likely to compromise their networks. If the system administrators find network performance is not good, usually they will for the client to provide more bandwidth (whether intranet, extranet or the Internet), but also provide a faster backbone network and spend more on the server money. But this road also sometimes need to optimize, So i want to know that how can use network load balancing to achieve this optimization. Please reply.

How to use different load balancing to improve network performance

According to their load balancing products through their agent (by the load-balancing product manufacturers to develop), or use some system management tools, templates, to collect information on the back-end server and, based on this information to adjust its allocation of resources. Agent and system management tools for both methods have advantages and disadvantages. Agent for the specific software and hardware services, it can very closely monitor the application status. However, this also means that you are locked into a particular vendor. All the best.

How to use different load balancing to improve network performance

Use of existing systems management tools, load balancing products can be monitored through the API and public agreement more software and hardware. Of course, the use of such products to manage your business systems will cause some security problems, it is you have to be taken into account in advance. A new generation of load-balancing products not only dealing with network and server performance problems, they can request under the foreground and background elements to allocate resources. This product will recognize the request, then the request pending until the requested content has been prepared, this is called delayed binding. Check and reply.

The contents of the routing is very useful for server clusters for a specific application (such as CGI, streaming media, cookie services, etc.) to adjust, and the load-balancing products will be processed and circulated to all the requests to stay connected to the client. This is very important, for example, the use of SSL, Web shopping cart services, because the SSL connection is consuming processor resources accounted for, it is necessary to maintain a stable number of Web processes and transaction processing. Check and reply.

How to use different load balancing to improve network performance

Hardware-based load balancing is usually done by the router and switch. These devices use ASIC (application-specific integrated circuits), with wire-speed operation. This is the fastest on the market load balancing products. However, because all of the functions are done in hardware, if your network has changed business processes, you can only wait for your suppliers to meet your needs in. You may even have to buy a new hardware. All the best.

Re: How to use different load balancing to improve network performance

Choice of load-balancing technology / product should depend on the load you need to deal with the number, and their complexity. Clearly a popular, but simple internal web site load balancing program than a simple multiple e-commerce site. As for the e-commerce sites, and perhaps the latest generation of load balancing products can best meet their needs. Best of luck.
