    Hi friends,

Many times the wireless network connection is interrupted and when it is connected its gives the poor performance. Please provide me the solution for the connectivity issues of Windows 7 with a Wireless Access Point Hoping that someone would provide the solution as soon as possible.!!

This problem occurs if the hot spot uses Wi-Fi access points or wireless routers that do not support the protocol of 802.11 power save. You may also experience these issues when you connect a Windows Vista or Windows 7 laptop to a wireless access point in a wireless home or small business or a corporate environment. If the access point wireless does not properly support this feature, it continues to send packets to the client network adapter even if it does not emit. Therefore, these packets are lost. In this case, the problems may differ depending on the phase of the wireless connection in which these packets are lost.

It is due also features power management that are included in Windows 7. Windows 7 by failing to use a laptop the Balanced power plan. The following conditions are true for laptops that are configured to use the Balanced power plan :
    1. When you are plugging the laptop into a power source, the wireless network card is configured to use Maximum Performance mode. This has the effect disable power saving 802.11.
    2. When you are running the laptop on battery, wireless network card is configured to use the mode average energy savings. This has the effect to activate the power saving 802.11.

When a wireless network card 802.11 configured to use the method of saving energy wants to spend the waking state, it informs the access point wirelessly. For this, the map defines the option of saving energy in its packets or 802.11 frames that it sends to the wireless access. This change may not be reflected in the OEM versions of Windows Vista that may be installed on laptops. Computer manufacturers may also apply rules of their own and change the power settings to default Windows.

I would like to suggest you to connect the laptop to a power source. When you connect the laptop to a power source, Windows 7 replace the power setting energy savings average performance for the wireless network adapter in the power plan defaults. This has the effect disable power saving 802.11. If the computer runs on a power plan other than the High performance plan when you connect to a wireless network, manually replace the plan high power performance. To do this, follow these steps :
    1. Click Start.
    2. Type Power Options in the Search box, then click Power Options in the Programs list.
    3. Click High performance.
