    Avoid Trojan-Spy.Win32.Zbot.wxb from coming into the system

    I want you guys to help me with the techniques that can be used to avoid Trojan-Spy.Win32.Zbot.wxb from coming into the system. I keep getting irritating alerts of this infection when I am connected to the web. I delete it everytime when it enters into the computer with the help of the Avast antivirus. I want to stop it from gaining entry into the system. Please help me with the same. I am using Windows XP Service Pack 3 and my browser is Opera 10.

    Inorder to avoid Trojan-Spy.Win32.Zbot.wxb from coming into the system, you have to enable the firewall in your computer. Here are the steps to do the same:
    • Go to Start.
    • Then, go to Control Panel.
    • Now, select Network and Internet Connections.
    • After that, click Change Windows Firewall Settings.
    • There, select On.
    • Now, click OK.

This is the simplest method that is being used by the attackers to spread the infections through the networks.     Hello there, you will have turn on Automatic Updates in Windows XP as given below. By doing this, you will be updating the entire system continuously.
    1. Click on Start.
    2. There, go to click Control Panel.
    3. Here, click on System.
    4. Now, click on Automatic Updates.
    5. Select the recommended setting here.
