Gen:Trojan.Heur.Kq2@vjhJDviix has entered the computer

I am very frustrated because Gen:Trojan.Heur.Kq2@vjhJDviix has entered the computer. This particular infection has been alerted by the Kaspersky antivirus that I have installed in my system. The issue is that this antivirus simply hangs when I try to get rid of the same. I am using Windows Vista operating system and my browser is Mozilla Firefox. Please help me with probable solutions to get rid of this infection.

Re: Gen:Trojan.Heur.Kq2@vjhJDviix has entered the computer

If Gen:Trojan.Heur.Kq2@vjhJDviix has entered the computer, then you must format the system as soon as possible because this infection is a trojan. So, it cannot be deleted from the system by using the normal means. If you keep the infection persisting in the computer, then there can also be system crash. Also, remember to install a new copy of the operating system that you are using.

Re: Gen:Trojan.Heur.Kq2@vjhJDviix has entered the computer

Hello there, I suggest you to install an anti-spyware in the system if Gen:Trojan.Heur.Kq2@vjhJDviix has entered the computer. Such security components have the ability to stay in the background of the system and thus, monitor the system. So, the applications and programs that are causing any malicious activities can be easily deleted from the system.

I suppose that Gen:Trojan.Heur.Kq2@vjhJDviix has entered the computer from the internet. So, it is necessary that you keep some type of protection that will not allow the infections to enter from the internet. I advice you to start the firewall in the system. With this method, all the data and information coming into the system will be checked before they can enter. Thus, any malicious information will not be able to pass.

Re: Gen:Trojan.Heur.Kq2@vjhJDviix has entered the computer

The safe mode scanning is the recommended method to be used if Gen:Trojan.Heur.Kq2@vjhJDviix has entered the computer. You will get an option to get into the safe mode when the computer is started. So, when the system is started in this mode, all the infections remain inactive as they are not able to execute in the safe mode. So, this is the best time an antivirus can delete the infections from the computer.

Re: Gen:Trojan.Heur.Kq2@vjhJDviix has entered the computer

I guess that the Kaspersky antivirus that you have installed in the system is not updated because of which you cannot do anything even after Gen:Trojan.Heur.Kq2@vjhJDviix has entered the computer. It is required that the database of the antivirus must be updated, so that the signatures of the new infections can be added. Only then, the infections can be detected and deleted from the system.
