Error code 0xE001CO64 while downloading AVG 9.0

I have purchased a new Acer laptop which is installed with windows 7. I was trying to download the AVG 9.0 free antivirus in order to protect my system against various threats. But while downloading the AVG 9.0 free antivirus from the website it resulted in to an error code 0xE001CO64. Please tell me how to go about this problem.

It seems as you are not downloading AVG antivirus from the official website and hence you are facing this problem and hence i would recommend you to download and install it from the official AVG website. Since you can download it freely from the website and though without any problem. Hope this helps

This is a common problem fro downloading the AVG 9.0 Free edition since i had faced this problem with my system too. I would like to know whether you can download another file since you will have to make changes to the firewall if you want AVG 9.0 antivirus application to be downloaded on your system.

I think that you are facing this problem due to the browser which you are using also i think that you are using the Internet Explorer Browser since this error is more common with the Internet Explorer browser. So if you want to download AVG 9.0 Try to use the Mozilla FireFox browser which works exceptionally well.
