| Deletion method of Trojan.PolyCrypt.Gen
The infection called Trojan.PolyCrypt.Gen has been detected in my system from the Quick Heal antivirus. This antivirus is freezing when I try to delete it from the antivirus interface. So, basically I need to know the deletion method of Trojan.PolyCrypt.Gen. I am using Windows XP Service Pack 3 with the Internet Explorer 8 browser. Please help me immediately with all possible techniques to get rid of this infection. |

| Re: Deletion method of Trojan.PolyCrypt.Gen
Quick Heal is a the best deletion method of Trojan.PolyCrypt.Gen because this antivirus has the feature of boot scanning. It seems that the infection has taken over the antivirus because of which it hangs, when you are trying to remove the same. So, I suggest that you should uninstall the antivirus and then, restart the computer. Now, reinstall the antivirus and run a boot scan to get rid of this particular infection. |

I suggest you to format the system for the deletion method of Trojan.PolyCrypt.Gen. Remember that it is necessary to install a fresh copy of the the operating system that you are using. This is because if you repair the current operating system, then it is possible that the infections will persist in the system. Also, since this infection is a trojan, formatting is the ultimate option to be used. |

| Re: Deletion method of Trojan.PolyCrypt.Gen
It is seen that Trojan.PolyCrypt.Gen enters into the system mostly through the email attachments that are send by the unknown users. This is why it is recommended that the email attachments must be scanned before it is opened. You can use the AVG antivirus to scan the entire system because it is advised to use the same for the deletion method of Trojan.PolyCrypt.Gen because it can remove worms, virus and trojans.

A better deletion method of Trojan.PolyCrypt.Gen than formatting is to enable a system restore to the factory settings. This method will remove all the data and installed components from the computer. Do not make the system of doing a backup before the system restore is done because the infections will be also backed up. So, the system restore can hopefully solve your problem. |
