Best steps to setup video streaming

    Hi,
Currently I am trying to setup a video streaming network for my site. But I am not able to get a proper solution for the same. I had installed a software which shows the video windows directly on the webpage. But it takes long time to stream and video quality is not so good. What you recommend for this. Which can be a appropriate software for video streaming.

For setting up your own video streaming server the first thing you need is a high speed internet connection. Basically video streaming only work for those users which have a good internet line. I will advice you use to use GoalBit. It is a open source software so you does need to buy the same. It will offer you to generate a P2P video sharing network.

You can try Multicat 1.0 for that. It is actually a product of Video lan which is quiet advance then other software. Here you can easily and very efficiently create and manipulat a multicast stream. This also supports MPEG-2 Transport Streams. You can use this software for free. If you are looking for a bit advance features then this can be proper for you.
