Annoying pop ups from the LULNCHR.exe

I want to ask about one process about i have got confused that is it a malicious process or what it is, I just do not get it. I have found LULNCHR.exe running in my task manager for many times and one time my task manager was flooded by this over 1968 times. Even Avast anti virus software is not detecting this process as a virus. And every time i shut down my computer, i got a message saying that an application failed to initialize because windows station is shutting down. Many time i have faced some annoying pop ups from LULNCHR.exe, so can anybody what this process stands for?

Do not worry at all as LULNCHR.exe does not belong to any trojan or malware. It is just a process which runs as you would be having any Logitech device connected to your computer. Actually LULnchr is a process belonging to Logitech Updater so there is no need to panic as this process does not harm your computer in anyway.

Re: Annoying pop ups from the LULNCHR.exe

Not only Avast but not also any other software of security can detect LULNCHR.exe unless and until it is really infected by the virus because it belongs to the updater of Logitech device which you are using on your computer so it not a special file made by an attacker to harm your computer. If you find that this process is taking much use of your CPU then you may kill that process but it would be resulting in a not supporting of Logitech device then it might be your webcam or any other device.

Re: Annoying pop ups from the LULNCHR.exe

As LULNCHR.exe is belonging to the Logitech device , LULNCHR.exe shows you the pop ups about updating the software that you use for Logitech Device connected to your computer system. Once you complete with the updates for that particular software then this pop ups will stop annoying you. Or you may disable the automatic updates options of that software so that this process does not bother about the updates of the Logitech devices.

Re: Annoying pop ups from the LULNCHR.exe

If you have attached any Logitech device to your computer then Logitech,Inc have provided one executable as a LULNCHR.exe which helps you to keep on updating the software made to use the Logitech device on your computer system. Basically LULNCHR.exe is a Logitech Updater to show the recent updates that are came to the market for all the logitech device. It could be your web cam or some other device. You can kill this process from the task manager by just simply deleting it but you must use this process in order to be updated about your Logitech device.
