How to test quality and performance of network cable

Hi all,

At network the construction, cable is often the most inconspicuous device. Most people will pay more attention to servers, Routers, switches and other valuable equipment performance, but often neglected relatively inexpensive network cable is excellent quality. In fact, the quality of cable local area network data transfer performance will have a direct impact, therefore, need to build the network cable rigorous all-round test. So how to test quality and performance of network cable. Please suggest.

The performance of cable's most-oriented or transmit data rate, which is line quality monitoring network of the most effective method. Recommend the use of good quality card, the dual machine Direct Connect test. And also to ensure that the test computer is running in normal state. Check and reply.

Good network cable network construction will take into account that may occur when the network cable bending case cable as far as possible environmental factors due to irreversible when caused by bending of the data transmission performance to minimize the impact. Cable protective layer and good flexibility, will not bend and crack. Recommended testing after repeated bending or folding of the network cable to be tested. All the best.

The network-line production of authentic materials must be fire retardant, while the bad cable is definitely not invest money here. So, to find a good network cable and your cable test carried out burning comparison test, we can identify the advantage and disadvantage of network cable. All the best.

Temperature will also affect the network cable for data transmission speed. Good quality cable can withstand high and low temperature difference will be far greater than the low-quality cable, a number of low-quality cable in high-temperature room will appear more obvious signs of reduction in transmission speed. Suggested test you can use the hot towel wrap and then test network cable. Best of luck.

By measuring the amount of a bit-line instrument cable, Check the network failure; because the server is placed in the main switch, and the network cable plugged into other machines on the experiment, transfer files, everything works, it appears that this failure is not caused by network problems. Check and reply.
