i would like to suggest you to update the virus definition of the Norton Security before scanning your system. The Norton security antivirus may have not detected the antivirus because you have not updated the virus definition of your antivirus program updating it will definitely help you to get rid of this virus.

This virus will create a directory named as "ConnectionStatus" in the Windows directory. Try to delete that directory from your system. After deleting this directory from the system. I would recommend you to use the malwarebytes antimalware on your system. Hope this will remove the virus.

I think you need to delete the registry key which i have mentioned below in before scanning the system using the Norton Security antivirus. Try to remove the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\WinINet = C:\Windows\ConnectionStatus\services.exe Registry key and then scan the system.

Win32.Sober.T@mm is written in the Visual basic 6.0 Programming language. Initially it appears as an image file but it is actually a mass-mailing worm. The icon is designed similar to a JPEG file, which misguide the user that it is nothing more than a harmless picture. Try to remove it using the malwarebytes at your earliest.
