| Need to remove msln.exe
Yesterday when i connected my pen drive in to my computer and copied some file in to my hard drive. When my friend took the same file to his computer then i came to know that it was an infected file as his security software has detected it. I do not have any such software in my computer but my system also must have infected by the msln.exe. I need to remove msln.exe from my computer as soon as possible so please suggest me some ways to do it. |

Actually msln.exe is a part of CWS.SearchX and it is a malicious file which infects the browser which you use on your computer for surfing through world wide web. This virus keeps the record of whatever you search through the infected browser. It is bit difficult to catch this kind of viruses as they maske their dll files.

If you do not have any software which can secure your computer then you must use the default security feature provided in the Windows Xp Operating system that is Firewall. Firewall is the gateway from where every single bit data goes through. So if any such data tries to enter in your computer then it would be warning you about the same. |

I think you need a software to remove msln.exe from your computer. I have given you the link which redirects you to the web page from where you can download the Norton Anti Virus which has huge database of viruses including all the latest viruses. Click on the name of the NORTON to download it. |

You may use safe mode of the windows OS which assure the security of your data when you deal with the viruses on your computer. Go to the safe by continuously pressing F8 key when your computer gets started. This will take you to the "Windows Xp Advanced Boot Options" where you have to select for safe mode after which your computer will boot in safe mode. |
