Infected with Adware Zango AN Virus

My system is running with windows 7 operating system. It has been infected with the Adware.Zango.AN virus . Also i am using the avg free antivirus it seems it is not capable of removing this virus. please tell me how to get rid of this virus. i would really appreciate your help. thanks in Advance.

The AVG antivirus is a very good antivirus since it can fix a large number of viruses. It appears as you are not able to get rid of this because you have not updated the virus definition. So first of all try to update the virus definition and then start the scan . This time the avg will delete all the detected viruses.

Thanks for suggesting a good solution but even after the upgrade the AVg is not capable of deleting the virus. After i updating the virus definition when i scanned the system it around two viruses on the system. But it deleted only one and the above virus is present still. please suggest a different solution to remove this.

The Adware Zango AN Virus which you have mentioned above is a very critical and infectious virus and it adds some registry so try to delete the below mentioned registry keys:

1. “HKCU\Software\[zango]”
2. “HKCU\Software\[zango]SA”
3. “HKLM\Software\[zango]”
4. “HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\[zango]”
5. “HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\[zango]SA”
