Get rid of ALOT.DLL

My computer was not having any malicious file on it but as i had connected my friend's portable hard drive to my computer, My computer got infected by ALOT.DLL as portable hard drive was infected by the same. Now i do not even have a software which remove this file, How to remove ALOT.DLL from my computer now?

Actually ALOT.DLL belongs to the Adware type malware groups. This type of files are called as BHO which means Browser Helper Object. BHO runs automatically every time when you open your Internet Browser. And it has entered to your system successfully as it can not be caught by firewall also as they would be identified as a browser itself. BHOs are normally used by spyware and adwares.
