Basically sr882388.exe is a Rootkit and a Trojan Horse which normally hides itself on an infected computer in order not to be detected manually. The only indication provided by this virus is the process called as sr882388.exe running in the task manager. This kind of viruses registers their exe in registry named as InetData.

Sometime it happen that you just can not delete an infected file even if you have found it. In such cases you should try to remove it from the safe mode of the Windows Operating system as this mode helps you to deal with the such problems. You have to restart your computer then press F8 key for several time which takes you to the Boot Options where you can select for the Safe Mode. |

Whenever you surf through the world wide web then you must keep your firewall ON a it is the only gateway from which each and every bit of data passes through. So if it finds any malicious data then you get the warning about the same which does not let your computer to get infected by that file. Go to the Network And Security to enable the Firewall on your windows system. |

There would be many processes running in the task manager. How can you find that the process running is harmful or not, So you can use Windows Defender to watch the path of currently running process and its publisher. Harmful processes would not be having a specific publisher as they would be published by the unknown user. Go to the Start > All Programs > Windows Defender menu where you can view the settings for Windows Defender. |

I think you need a software which can secure your computer from the viruses, I have given you the link which redirects you to the web page from where you can download the Avast Anti Virus which is a good competitor of Norton Securities. Even Avast is a software on which you can freely rely to deal with the malicious files presented on your computer. Click on the LINK to go to the downloading page.
