Advantages of Broadband Router

Compared to traditional routers, broadband routers support the reduction of interface types and related agreements, generally only the Ethernet interface, there is no narrow-band interface cards and modules, from the architecture look simple, but this change just to meet the current application demand. As the network bandwidth requirements of the rapid rise in narrow-band technology has been gradually losing market, particularly in the SOHO and SME users networking sphere. And, in many network standards, Ethernet has become the standard, so although the only Ethernet broadband router interface, but it has been able to meet small and medium business users on the network needs. Check and reply.

Advantages of Broadband Router

Broadband router, though simplified, but in some applications but is more functional characteristics, to better satisfy the application. Like most broadband routers have from time to time, on-demand dial-up, MAC cloning, 802.1x, DMZ host, virtual server, and other functions, and these functions, many traditional routers do not. Perhaps many people right broadband router's assessment is "low performance", in fact, in the broadband router had just been born when the existence of such phenomena. All the best.

Advantages of Broadband Router

At that time broadband router is mainly to meet the home and SOHO applications, such applications of the network is confined to a small number of users, data throughput, so it is not high performance requirements, so these products to use more ARM7 CPU coupled with the exchange of chip architecture or directly using an integrated ARM7 core and switching capabilities of the single-chip, the IP packet forwarding capability is not strong. All the best.

Re: Advantages of Broadband Router

With the networks increasing number of high-bandwidth applications (such as online games and video chat), a rapid increase in network data traffic on the IP packet forwarding capabilities have become increasingly demanding, especially in the network size larger occasions is even more evident. It is precisely at this time, Internet cafes building (more of a cafe network transformation) in full swing. Applications gave birth to upgrade broadband router, Internet cafes and small and medium enterprises to meet the needs of "high-end" broadband router was born, was named "Internet cafes dedicated" broadband router, a time for the birth of a lot, such as the Ruijie the RG-NBR1000, TP-Link's TL-R4000. Check and reply.
