When you are answering to the question, the DNS server will act in response with supplementary DNSSEC reserve records. This will enlarge the amount of packets on the network and can diminish the greatest query throughput of the DNS server. A DNS server that is performing corroboration of DNSSEC data can knowledge or familiarity and multiply in CPU usage. A server dependable for signed zones will practice a minimal enlarges unless it is also performing corroboration on data from other zones. Make sure that the server has a dependable and fast processor. |

If great or huge signed zones are hosted in AD DS, there can be an important collision on the size of the Active Directory records as file, folders and documents. Make certain there is sufficient disk space on the server. For file-backed zones, the main or most important and all inferior or less important servers hosting the zone have to be a Windows Server 2008 R2 DNS server or a DNSSEC-aware server that is working an operating system additional than Windows. |

If you want the Active Directory-integrated zones, each domain manager that is a DNS server in the domain have to be working on Windows Server 2008 R2 if the signed zone is set to duplicate to all DNS servers in the domain. Each domain organizer that is a DNS server in the forest have to be working on Windows Server 2008 R2 if the signed zone is set to duplicate to all DNS servers in the forest.

Windows accomplishments of DNSSEC determination to be interoperate with older description of Windows that do not utilize DNSSEC as well as additional operating systems. The subsequent are guidelines for DNSSEC operation in mixed surroundings: all servers dependable for a DNSSEC-signed zone have to be a DNSSEC-aware server (such as Windows Server 2008 R2). A DNSSEC-aware Windows client that demands for the DNSSEC data and corroboration must be arranged to issue DNS queries to a DNSSEC-aware and (optionally).
