    Monitoring Exchange user email

    Hi,

    I am seem for a way to track, monitor and log all e-mail message both incoming and outgoing on an Exchange 2003 server. What is being asked of me is to store and path every e-mail for authorized purposes. I would like to replicate this service to one more server to keep the load off the manufacture server. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    You need to do following steps:
    1. First, create a mailbox store database, in the "First Storage Group" on the right click, select New-Mailbox Store.
    2. Enter a new mailbox store names.
    3. Clicking OK, The system will pop up a dialog box asking if now mount the storage group, point Yes .Once in place, the system known as a more MonitorThe storage group.
    4. Will need to monitor the user's mailbox moved to the storage group, right-click the user need to monitor the election Exchange Tasks.
    5. In "Available Tasks"dialog box, select"Move Mailbox"And then click Next.
    6. In "Move Mailbox"Dialog"Mailbox Store"Drop-down list, select"Monitor"Storage Group, the following figure:
    7. In "Move Mailbox"Dialog box, select"Create a failure report"And then point Next.
    8. In order to prevent users are using the mailbox, you can plan a time to move, this step is to set the moving time, you can also directly point Next, Began to move user mailboxes.

    You need to began to move mailboxes for monitoring user email.
    1. click on Finish to complete the movement of the user mailbox store.
    2. Next, you also need to Monitor Storage database settings, right-click Monitor, Choose "Properties(Attribute) ".
    3. At Monitor Properties dialog box, select "General(Conventional) "tab, check"Archive all messages send or received by mailboxes on this store, then click on"Browse(View) ".
    4. Select an administrator account Mail manage.
    5. Let's just set up test results, use the account Send a test message.
    6. And then use the Mail manage Login.
    7. Now let's test the others distributed user E-mail, the use of login E-mail to send a test e-mail to another user.

    There is also second method to monitor user email. Check below steps:
    1. In "Active Directory Users and Computer ", right-click need to monitor the user name, choose"Properties(Attribute) ".
    2. In the User Properties dialog box, select "Exchange Advanced"Tab, click on"Mailbox Rights(Mailbox rights) ".
    3. The administrator's mailbox Mailmanage Added to the kinds of user mailbox rights groups, and permissions set to "Full mailbox access Mailbox full control permissions ".
    4. At OWA Mode, the use of Mail manage Account mailbox, and then in the address bar enter the object being monitored user E-mail address:https: / / 192.168.50.201/exchange/useid.
    5. The system will automatically jump to user E-mail, rather than enter a password.
    6. Can also be configured Outlook View user mail, in the Mail manage the outlook, Click "Tools--E-mail account ".

    You can also add "E-mail Account" dialog box, click the "Change". In "Exchange Server Settings "dialog box, click" other settings ".
