    Need to remove TROJ_FAKEAV.MVE

    Hi everybody, I am having a Compaq laptop with Windows XP operating system and which is built with Intel 3.0 GHZ processor and 3 GB DDR3 RAM. However my extremely fast computer now becomes extremely slow. This system slow down is done by TROJ_FAKEAV.MVE virus. I want some solution to remove this virus. And this virus also sucking up my computer resources and system memory. Can any tell me removal solution of this virus from my system.

    TROJ_FAKEAV.MVE is a Trojan horse application is a malware which is not ability to automatically spreading to other machines. Trojans are commonly installed through the Internet. Trojans typically carry payloads or other malicious actions which are range through the mildly annoying to the irreparably destructive. They may also change machine settings to automatically start.

    Remove the following value in the registry:

    In HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
    Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
    Explorer\Run
    • {malware name} = "{malware path and name}"

    Locate and remove given file of TROJ_FAKEAV.MVE trojan

    Please ensure you that you have check the Search Hidden Files and Folders checkbox in the "More advanced options" option to having all hidden files and folders in the search result.

    TROJ_FAKEAV.MVE Trojan makes the given registry entry to make it enable its automatic run at each time of system startup:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
    Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
    Explorer\Run
