    Deletion method for Win-Trojan/Agent.555597

    Hello everyone, the Avira antivirus that I have installed in my system has detected this infection called Win-Trojan/Agent.555597 in my system. I need someone to help me with the deletion method for Win-Trojan/Agent.555597. I am using Windows Vista operating system and my browser is Mozilla Firefox. I cannot understand why this antivirus is not helping me to get rid of this infection from the system.

    The deletion method for Win-Trojan/Agent.555597 is to remove it manually. The following corrupt files have to removed from the system for this purpose:
    • %Documents and Settings%\\Application Data\svchosts.exe
    • %Documents and Settings%\\Application Data\taskmon.exe
    • %Documents and Settings%\[user_name]\Application Data\rundll.exe
    • %Documents and Settings%\[user_name]\Application Data\service.exe
    • %Documents and Settings%\[user_name]\Application Data\sound.exe
    • %Documents and Settings%\[user_name]\Application Data\upnpsvc.exe
    • %Documents and Settings%\[user_name]\Application Data\lsas.exe
    • %Documents and Settings%\[user_name]\Application Data\logon.exe
    • %Documents and Settings%\[user_name]\Application Data\helper.exe
    • %Documents and Settings%\[user_name]\Application Data\event.exe
    • %Documents and Settings%\[user_name]\Application Data\dumpreport.exe
    • %Documents and Settings%\[user_name]\Application Data\msiexeca.exe

    Also, the following registry entry has to be removed:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “[Random Name]“

    I suggest you to run a safe mode scan for the deletion method for Win-Trojan/Agent.555597. This scan takes place when the infections are not active. This is because the infections are not able to execute in the safe mode and hence, the antivirus finds it easy to remove the same. You can go into the safe mode when you start the computer.
